The upcoming Summer schedule for Sparkles of Gwinnett has been released! Lots of great things are happening this summer. The schedule is in effect from May 20, 2012 through August 11, 2012.
Our Weekday Summer Matinee sessions are back! They go Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM through 6:00 PM. Admission is only $5. If you need to rent skates, skate rental is $4.
Don't forget about our "Family Fun & Fitness" every Wednesday, from 6:00 PM through 9:00 PM. Admission is FREE to all families (skate rental, if needed, is additional). Families must consist of at least 3 people and have at least 1 adult and 1 child. What a great family outing!
Beginning June 1, 2012, we will have "Cosmic Skate" every Friday night. Every person gets a FREE glow necklace with a paid admission. Wear neon or white to REALLY glow under the lights!

Last summer we launched our "Family Fun & Fitness" program. It was a huge success! This program is designed to gets kids off the couch and have families doing something together that is both healthy and fun!
We are bringing the program back! Starting Wednesday, May 2nd, we will resume the "Family Fun & Fitness" program at the Gwinnett rink, from 6-9 PM. Admission is FREE to all families (must have at least 3 people, and consist of at least 1 adult and 1 child). Individuals coming in will pay $5 admission. Skate rental is additional for anyone needing to rent skates.
Roller Skating is:
A fun way to increase muscular strength and cardiorespiratory endurance.
A way to burn anywhere from 330 to 600 calories per hour!
Great for improving balance and flexibility.
A fantastic source of aerobic exercise.
A key to weight control.
Easy to learn.
A great tension reliever and enthusiasm builder.
An excellent way to help maintain good health.
So grab the family and come on out to enjoy skating...and some good old fashioned family fun!

What is a "Family Fun Pack"?
If you haven't been to Sparkles of Gwinnett on a Saturday night, you may not be familiar with what a "Family Fun Pack" is. It is available to families coming in on a Saturday night between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM. A family must consist of at least 3 people, or which there is at least 1 adult and 1 child.
If a "Family Fun Pack" is requested, the individual pays $10 and receives admission, skate rental, 2 slices of cheese pizza and a 24-oz drink! Where else could you go and get dinner and have fun for $10/person? A regular Saturday night admission is $8; Skate Rental is $3. Those two things alone total $11. With a "Family Fun Pack" it's like getting $1 off your skating and skate rental, and getting pizza and soda for FREE!
So this Saturday night, head over to Sparkles of Gwinnett for a night of food, fun and family!
